There are a lot of clinics advertising for neuropathy patients these days.

Some straight talk about neuropathy and its treatment from the doctor who literally wrote the book on effective treatments for peripheral neuropathy.

Hi, I am Dr. Kukurin and I have been successfully treating patients suffering form various forms of peripheral neuropathy for more than 20 years.  In addition to writing a textbook on neuropathy, I've written hundreds of articles on different treatments for neuropathy and have had the results of my methods presented at scientific conferences at Johns Hopkins Medical School (twice) and at the Peripheral Nerve Society (an International Society of Scientists dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral neuropathy.)

You might have recently noticed a lot of doctors and clinics advertising for the treatment of neuropathy. It is a lucrative niche with millions of people suffering from this painful condition and few FDA approved drugs to treat it.  But just because a doctor or clinic claims to treat neuropathy, that does not mean they are good at it.  One group that I know of, pushes multi-level marketing supplements on their patients. Another groups acts like an infomercial for a glorified TENs unit device that is terribly over-priced. Many of these clinics list testimonials from patients who have entrapment neuropathy, like sciatica or carpal tunnel syndrome. While yes, these conditions are technically a form of neuropathy, they are a lot less complex than true idiopathic, diabetic, chemotherapy-induced or other forms of true peripheral poly-neuropathy.
