Never underestimate how serious
spinal curvature and scoliosis in your child's spine can be!
Progression of minor curvatures into full blown spinal deformity can cause
compression of the lungs and heart, may lead to dangerous and extensive spinal
surgery and can cause great psychological distress for your child.
Unfortunately, the medical orthopedic model for treatment of small curves is to
"watch and wait". Do not watch the curve in your child's spine turn from a small
curve into one that may require bracing and surgery.
There are some simple things you can do for your child to try to avoid watching
his or her spinal curve evolve into a serious problem, right before your eyes.
Please download and read the articles to the right of the scoliosis images.
Be proactive with your child's spine! The time to act is when the curves are
small.
You owe it to your child to do everything possible to prevent progression of the
curvature.
