Hi I am Dr. George Kukurin, licensed to practice chiropractic & acupuncture. I’m also one of a  few chiropractic physicians who are Diplomats of the American Chiropractic Academy of Neurology. I have a keen interest in conditions of the nervous system, like  peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, idiopathic and other types of neuropathy.  I am a former faculty member of the Post Graduate Neurology Department of Parker College. I literally wrote the book on effective neuropathy treatments and have presented my techniques of neuropathy treatment at Johns Hopkins Medical School and at the Peripheral Nerve Society scientific meeting. I have post-graduate education from the Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic. I even traveled to Russian to learn laser acupuncture treatments for neuropathy and to Mexico to study nerve regeneration treatments. The treatments we have pioneered for our neuropathy patients have produced some amazing results. They have been seen on local Fox and ABC newscasts and published in medical journals indexed in the National Library of Medicine. I have been studying and practicing alternative medicine methods for over 20 years. Find out how we help our patients suffering from various forms of neuropathy.

Acupuncture treatment for neuropathy.

Acupuncture has been used to treat various forms of neuropathy for thousands of years. And for the right patient and applied in the correct manner, acupuncture can really reduce the symptoms of neuropathy. In fact some studies suggest than treating neuropathy with acupuncture might even stimulate the re-growth of damaged nerves. Other studies of acupuncture suggest that this ancient therapy can and does normalize nerve conduction tests.  These tests are sensitive nerve tests that can determine how well or badly a nerve is working. They actually are so sensitive that they can tell if a patient has neuropathy even before the patient has any symptoms of the disease. They also are sued to tell if neuropathy is getting worse, staying about the same or getting better. So the possibility that acupuncture might help to repair damaged nerves and reverse abnormal nerve function in neuropathy patients is really exciting news. There are many different types and styles of acupuncture, to learn more visits our sister web site dedicated to acupuncture. (click here)
